The future of Africa lies in its villages and communities and their ability to survive. Our projects are all grassroot focused working with many different tribal groups, helping them build the future they would like to have. This means that ICAN is community driven and not donor driven. It is not the reality of the donors that guide the programmes in the communities we serve.

Partnership Development

ICANs partners have over the years developed numerous partnerships at an international level, becoming part of a wide number of alliances, networks, charities and organizations. We have partnerships with European charities and NGO's who share our commitment to creating models and systems to reach grassroot developments impacting on poverty.

Through these partnerships we can reach numerous village committees, tribal groups, community based organizations, small women's groups and self-help groups. It is our belief that these partnerships are the future of international development. These partnerships are not always formal and we will work closely with the many unstructured initiatives that are growing across Africa.
